The Elm Creek Watershed Authority operates and maintains thirty-four flood control structures in parts of Bell, Falls, McLennan and Milam Counties. These earthen dams were designed and constructed by the USDA Natural Resources Conservation Service.
The Board of Directors of the District meets regularly in Temple, Texas at the Elm Creek Watershed Authority office unless otherwise noted. All meetings are open to the public.
